Do you Freecycle? Good golly why not?? Freecycle is an international organization all about swapping junk for FREE rather than throwing it out and filling up landfills. Hey, what you might not need someone else might! You sign up for a local group and check out what people are offering. It's easier than donating to Goodwill as you just respond to their e.mails and whoever wants it has to come and get it. You can ask for stuff too - I asked for packing materials when we were moving, and someone in the group who was unpacking gave us a ton of boxes and papers. We got a ladder off of there, and gave away tons of weird wedding gifts and here's the kicker - we got a free ORGAN that someone offered (that's my insane husband for you) and then when we had to move, offered it and someone came and picked it up. Free swapping of stuff, it doesn't get better than that!
